Ritherdon meter box units are powder coated steel repair units and replacement doors and frames designed to fit over or into damaged existing meter boxes. Because the unit slides over the damaged glass reinforced plastic box, the meter does not have to be disconnected and a typical repair takes around five to fifteen minutes.
The range splits into electric meter box repair units, gas meter box repair units and complete steel meter boxes. Ritherdon have manufactured in the UK since 1895 and make these units at their own factory in Darwen, Lancashire. Unit selection is by measuring the existing box against Ritherdon’s dimension selection table.
