Quelfire Fire Collar for Large Diameter Plastic Pipes

The QWX is Quelfire’s intumescent fire collar for large diameter plastic pipes penetrating compartment lines. A stainless steel outer layer contains intumescent material that reacts under heat, exerting pressure on the pipe as it softens and forming a carbonaceous char that closes the aperture. It is aimed at soil and drainage runs in concrete floors and blockwork walls and can be retrofitted to existing pipework.

• Six sizes: 200mm, 225mm, 250mm, 315mm, 350mm and 400mm diameter
• For plastic pipes including HDPE
• Fire resistance varies with pipe size and construction
