The QWR is Quelfire’s CE marked intumescent fire collar for plastic pipes passing through compartment walls and floors. A stainless steel flexible collar houses graphite-based intumescent material which, when heated, expands to squeeze the softening plastic pipe closed and form a carbonaceous char that blocks the passage of fire. It covers twelve pipe sizes from 25mm to 160mm and carries a Type X durability classification for use in weather-exposed conditions.

- Suits U-PVC, PE, HDPE, MDPE, ABS, SAN-PVC, PE-X and PP pipes
- For concrete and masonry walls and floors, fire-rated partitions and plasterboard ceilings
- Can be retrofitted to existing pipework
