Description

QWW Intuwrap is Quelfire’s CE marked intumescent pipe wrap for plastic pipes penetrating fire compartment floors. High-performance graphite-based intumescent material is held within a polythene cover which, under heat, reacts to form an insulating plug that blocks fire transmission between compartments. It is cast in or fitted into the floor slab with a self-adhesive tab and needs no mechanical fixings, giving a low-profile alternative to a surface-mounted collar.

  • Eleven sizes from QWW32/CE to QWW160/CE, covering 32mm to 160mm diameter
  • Suits PVC, PVC-U, PE, HDPE, MDPE and PP pipes
  • For rigid concrete floors, hollow core floors and steel profile deck composite floors
