Description

The QRS Intumescent Fire Sleeve prevents fire spreading through plastic ventilation ducts where they penetrate fire compartment walls. A pressed steel shell carries a graphite-based intumescent core which expands under heat to seal the gap left as the duct melts. It needs no mechanical fixings, can be retrofitted, and units can be installed in clusters where several ducts pass through the same wall.

  • Circular sizes QRS75 semi-rigid, QRS90, QRS110 and QRS130
  • For masonry walls and insulated or non-insulated plasterboard partitions
