Flametect Nitro is a water-based flame retardant for natural and synthetic textiles and other absorbent materials. It is used on polyester, cotton, silk, linen flax, wool, cardboard, polystyrene, lycra, jute and foam rubber, and on artificial flowers, costumes, upholstery, curtains and decorative items. It can be applied by spray, roller or immersion, and treats an average of 10 m2 per litre.
- Tested in the UK and EU and to French M1, German DIN 4102 and US NFPA 701
- Meets MCA and IMO standards for charter and passenger ships
- Coverage may be higher than 10 m2 per litre on lightweight materials
