Flametect Nitro D is a water-resistant flame retardant spray for natural and synthetic materials that are likely to be exposed to damp or weather. It is used on textiles, upholstery, tents, marquees and other outdoor fabrics, and is applied by spray, roller or immersion at up to 10 m2 per litre. A contract spraying service is offered by the brand alongside supply of the liquid.
- Can achieve BS 5867 Part 2 Type B and BS 5852
- Passes the BS 5651 water soak test, and BS 7837 and BS 5438 on absorbent fabrics
- Performs to CAA Spec 8 for aircraft
