Quelfire’s PUTPAD acoustic intumescent putty pads maintain the fire resistance of plasterboard walls where electrical socket boxes have been installed. The intumescent material slows the spread of fire through the box aperture while the pad also acts as a cold smoke seal and reduces air leakage and noise transfer between rooms. They are hand-installed with no tools and suit both new work and retrofit.
