Protecta FR Pipe Wrap

Protecta FR Pipe Wrap maintains the fire resistance of fire-separating walls and floors where they are breached by plastic pipes, conduits, or metal pipes carrying continuous combustible insulation. A graphite-based intumescent strip expands rapidly when heated, in under ten minutes, to close the void left as the pipe or insulation burns away. At just 1.8mm thick it suits tight annular gaps, and it carries both a European Technical Assessment and a UK Technical Assessment.

• Suits PVC-U, PVC-C, PE, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE, ABS, SAN+PVC and PP pipes
• For drywall, masonry and concrete constructions of at least 150mm thickness
• Wide application temperature range of -40 deg C to +50 deg C
