Description

This is component B, the polyamide curing agent, for Jotun Penguard HSP two component high build epoxy. It has no use on its own and must be mixed with Penguard HSP component A at 1 part to 4 parts by volume, so this 4 litre unit pairs with a 16 litre base to give 20 litres of mixed paint.

  • Pot life of the mixed paint is 2 hours at 23 deg C, so mix only what can be applied within that window
  • Mixed paint is 73 per cent volume solids and is applied at 60 to 250 micron dry film thickness, 125 micron typical
  • The mixed system can be applied down to 0 deg C and is suitable for airless spray, or brush for stripe coating and small areas

Penguard HSP is an anticorrosive epoxy primer and finish, not an intumescent coating, and carries no fire rating.
