Economical foil-clad intumescent wraps for pipes and cables, cut to size on site and wrapped around the service at the penetration. They fit into brick or block walls and work alongside Envirograf intumescent coated slabs, non-fibrous slabs and fire mortar.
Under intense heat the intumescent expands, sealing off the opening and crushing PVC pipe, trunking and cable, while cooling steel pipework to stop it overheating. An adhesive strip secures the ends, and the material will not degrade in situ.
- 1 hour at 25mm depth, 3 hours at 30mm to 50mm, 4 hours at 50mm to 100mm
