An asbestos-free dry-mix mortar supplied in 25kg bags, mixed with water and worked like plaster. Shuttering boards are not required: Rockwool slabs are laid into the opening leaving the required depth for the mortar.
Once set the mortar is load-bearing, and it can be cut later to allow services to be installed. It is used with Envirograf intumescent slabs rather than on its own.
- Up to 6 hours protection at 100mm depth
- 4 hours at 25mm, 3 hours at 12mm, 2 hours at 6mm, 1 hour at 3mm
- Load-bearing once dried
