HW System Primer

The Envirograf HW system primer, coded HWAP, is a clear water-based adhesion primer used under the HW01 and HW02 intumescent coatings for timber. Its purpose is to let the HW system be applied over existing paint, varnish, wax or stained surfaces without stripping back first, which makes it well suited to upgrading existing doors and joinery. It is a whitish suspension in the tin that dries clear and is touch dry in roughly 60 to 90 minutes depending on temperature and humidity.
