Description

The Envirograf HW System (Product 42) is a range of clear and white intumescent coatings for timber and timber-derived products such as doors, flooring, furniture, MDF, insulation board and plasterboard. HW02N is the clear grade for internal and external work, HW02E the external clear grade and HW01F the white grade, with HWAP/WB primer used over existing paint or varnish and HW04 as a white undercoat.

  • Upgrades existing timber surfaces to 30 or 60 minutes fire protection
  • The intumescent basecoat lasts the life of the surface; only the top coat needs renewing, typically every 8 to 12 years
  • Must be finished with an HW top coat, one coat internally and two externally
