Description

HR PROF (also sold as Holz Prof) is a water based, ready to use fire retardant treatment for wood and other porous combustible building materials. It penetrates into the substrate rather than forming a surface film, and is supplied colourless and odourless so the appearance and texture of the timber are retained.

It is solvent free, non-hazardous in use and has anti-fungicidal properties. No separate protective finishing coat is required, although compatible stains, varnishes and some paints can be applied over it. Typical uses include timber frame buildings, external cladding, staircases, trusses, doors, joists, floors, walls, stables, log cabins, fencing and garages.

  • Water based, solvent free, ready to use – no thinning
  • Colourless and odourless; does not require a finishing coat
  • Euroclass B-s1,d0 achieved on spruce, pine, European oak, Scotch larch, Siberian larch, Western red cedar and Sucupira Amarela
  • Supplied in 5 litre and 20 litre containers
