FireHalt fire barriers are lightweight woven and treated glass fibre fabrics used to compartment concealed spaces such as ceiling voids, roof voids, cavities and service risers, restoring the line of compartmentation that the building fabric would otherwise break. The barriers are stapled and lapped on site and are supported by FireHalt datasheets, installation guides and installer training.
The range is chosen by the integrity and insulation performance the compartment line needs, and by whether the application is vertical or horizontal. All three current barriers are third party certified through KIWA/IFCC with Warringtonfire test evidence.
- Ultralite 60:15 – 60 minutes integrity, 15 minutes insulation, vertical and horizontal
- 90:60 – 90 minutes integrity, 60 minutes insulation, horizontal application
- SF120 – 120 minutes integrity only, smoke and flame barrier, vertical application
- Supplied in rolls for stapling and lapping in ceiling voids, cavities and risers
