FSi Stopseal LGS is an intumescent thermoplastic filled with flame retardants and binders, carried in an elastomeric acoustic rated foam. It is friction fitted into linear construction joints in rigid walls and floors, where the foam accommodates movement in normal service and the intumescent expands under fire to form a pressure seal across the gap.
- Supplied in 1000mm lengths in ten profiles, from LGS10 for 5mm to 10mm gaps up to LGS150 for 126mm to 150mm gaps
- Certifire third party certification CF507, with fire resistance assessed to BS 476 Part 20
- Sound insulation tested to BS EN ISO 10140-2:2020 with up to 18 dB achievable, and air permeability tested to BS EN 1026:2000
Dry fit with no cure time and no ancillary materials, and low emission rated Emicode EC 1 Plus.
