FSi Silverseal Compound is a gypsum based fire resistant mortar used to reinstate the fire resistance of floor and wall constructions where apertures have been formed for services. It is mixed with water and poured or trowelled into the opening, and is tested with plastic pipes, cables and insulated non-combustible pipes.
- Classified EI120 when tested to BS EN 1366-3:2009
- UL EU approval UL-EU-01025-CPR, CE marked and UKCA marked
- Load bearing once cured, so it can take light foot traffic in floor openings, and it also restricts air leakage and helps maintain acoustic performance
For internal use only, with an assumed working life of 30 years. A higher strength version, Silverseal HS Compound, is also available.
