FSi Stopseal Batt is a stone wool board finished with a fire resistant ablative coating on both faces, used to reinstate the fire resistance of walls and floors where apertures carry single or multiple services. It is supplied in 1200mm x 600mm boards in 50mm and 60mm thicknesses, in single or double coated form, and is light enough to be cut on site with a knife or saw.
- Tested to BS EN 1366-3:2009 for penetration seals, with UL-EU approval UL-EU-00771-CPR, CE and UKCA marking
- Up to 60 minutes as a single layer in walls and floors, and up to 240 minutes as a double layer in walls
- Cut edges and service penetrations are made good with FSi ablative coating or Pyrocoustic sealant to complete the seal
Intended for internal use only, with an assumed working life of 30 years.
