ES/VFR Translucent is the internal and external top coat within Envirograf Product 92, the ES/VFR fire retardant coating system for timber. It is applied over the cured ES/VFR basecoat to protect it from wear and weather, and gives UV protection to external timber while leaving the grain visible.
- Part of a system achieving Class 0 and Class 1 spread of flame and up to 20 minutes integrity
- Covers 10 sq m per litre per coat in line with the rest of the system
- Needs renewing roughly every 8 to 12 years, while the basecoat beneath lasts the life of the surface
