1328-A01 is the part number for the original Fireco Dorgard, a wire-free fire door retainer fitted at the foot of a fire door. It holds the door open at any angle and listens for the fire alarm, releasing the door so it can self-close once it hears a continuous alarm lasting 14 seconds or longer. Because it is battery powered and acoustically triggered it needs no wiring back to the alarm panel and fits in a few minutes.
