Intumescent vents for soffit board, fitted as new grilles or as replacements for existing plastic soffit vents. They allow ventilation to the loft space while preventing external flames entering the roof void from a fire in the room below.
Circular and rectangular versions are available, each containing intumescent material that seals the vent opening in a fire and protects the roof space from flames and hot gases. They are commonly specified for loft conversions and above higher-risk rooms such as kitchens.
