Description

ROCKWOOL FirePro Intumescent Putty Pads are red, non-setting, flexible silicone-based intumescent polymer pads that line the back and sides of electrical socket and switch boxes in plasterboard partitions. They reinstate the fire resistance of the wall and cut noise transfer through the box, removing the need for a separate baffle box. The intumescent activates at 200 degrees C to close the opening.

  • Available for single and double socket boxes, internally and externally mounted
  • Non-setting, so the pad can be re-formed around cables
  • Shelf life up to 24 months
