ROCKWOOL coated batt is a high-density stone wool core faced with a water-based ablative coating, used to reinstate the fire resistance of compartment walls and floors where building services pass through. The current product in the range is FirePro CB50, a 50mm batt that supersedes the earlier FirePro Ablative Coated Batt. It is cut on site to suit the aperture and installed in single or double layers, with FirePro AIS sealant used around services and FirePro CB Coating used to reseal any cut or damaged faces.
