QI Intufoam is a compressible foam impregnated with fire retardant chemicals and bonded to a graphite-based intumescent, used to seal linear gaps and expansion joints between non-combustible surfaces. It is compressed by hand and pushed into the joint, so no wet trades or curing time are involved, and it accommodates a degree of building movement once installed. The range is tested to BS EN 1366-4 for linear gap seals, with QI50/45 additionally tested to BS EN 1366-3 in conjunction with the QuelStop Fire Batt.
