Description

Protecta’s coating range spans two distinct jobs. FR Coating is a water-based, halogen-free ablative coating developed for mineral fibre firestopping systems, forming a protective layer in a fire that reduces the permeability of the stone wool and blocks flame, heat and smoke. Alongside it sit the intumescent paints, notably Steel Paint FR-120 for load-bearing steel, along with Interior Paint FR-1 and Service Coat FR-1. Because the ablative and the intumescent paints are tested to entirely different standards, the correct product must be matched to the element being protected.

  • FR Coating, up to EI 240, ETA 22/0307, ETA 22/0733 and ETA 22/0771
  • Steel Paint FR-120, R 120 for load-bearing steel, ETA 24/0172
  • Steel Paint FR-1, Interior Paint FR-1 and Service Coat FR-1 complete the range
