Mulcol collars and wraps seal penetrations formed by combustible and insulated pipes through walls and floors. As temperature rises the graphite based insert expands and crushes the pipe closed, re-establishing the fire resistance of the element the pipe passes through.
The Multicollar Slim is a low profile universal fire collar built from a stainless steel band of 174 segments with a graphite based inlay, tested up to 315mm diameter. The Multiwrap is a graphite based self-adhesive wrap supplied on a roll, for wrapping into the penetration where a surface mounted collar is not wanted. Both are ETA approved.
