Intumescent pads with adhesive on one side, fixed to the inside of plastic or metal trunking where it passes between walls or ceilings. They are designed for multi-compartment PVC trunking carrying services through a fire barrier.
In a fire the intumescent expands to seal the inside of the trunking, compressing the cables and filling the full width of the bore so that fire cannot travel along the run.
- Up to 3 hours protection through fire barrier walls, floors and ceilings
- Twenty-three trunking sizes from 50 x 25mm to 375 x 75mm
- One or two pads per penetration depending on trunking size
