FIREFLY® High Temperature Adhesive is a silicate based material used to seal or bond FIREFLY® barriers and ancillaries exposed to very high temperatures, drying to a cement-like finish with a continuous operating temperature of up to 1250°C.
Use areas
Designed primarily to be used within the installation of a FIREFLY® flexible fire barrier system. High Temperature Adhesive is used as a system component to seal around penetrations through the barrier, and between layers of barriers and other materials such as FIREFLY® Collaroll and Penowrap, to achieve a smoke seal. Applied via a standard cartridge, it provides a rigid seal around these penetrations once dry.
Key benefits
- Dries to a cement-like finish with good adhesion to many surfaces including glass fibre, metal, concrete, stone and ceramic
