The FlipFix plasterboard access panel with beaded frame is designed to disappear into a plastered or taped and jointed wall or ceiling. The door carries a plasterboard infill and the frame has a bead, so the door and frame can be skimmed or taped over to leave a flush finish with only the lock visible.
The frame is 0.9mm Zintec steel, 25mm wide with a 60mm depth at the back, powder coated RAL 9010. Fixing clamps secure it directly to the plasterboard with no additional framing needed. The 1 hour fire rated version uses a spring loaded ClickFix hinge so the door can be removed for full access, and achieves 60 minutes integrity tested at Warringtonfire.
