Envirograf fire cages (Product 32) are rigid, fire-rated metal cages lined with intumescent, fitted over lights and downlighters in plasterboard or suspended ceilings. They perform the same job as a fabric downlighter cover but, being rigid, need no clearance around the fitting, which suits tight ceiling voids.
- 240 minutes integrity when tested to BS 476 Parts 22 and 23
- Ten sizes, with an R suffix for versions sized to take a transformer alongside the fitting
- Acoustic versions with the /AC suffix give sound reduction of up to 63dB
