Fire hoods are the trade name for Envirograf’s intumescent downlighter covers, Product 32. Each cover is made from intumescent-lined woven glass fabric and is fitted over a recessed light fitting so that the plasterboard or suspended ceiling keeps its fire rating, with the intumescent sealing the aperture as it expands.
