EnviroBurst (Envirograf Product 20) is a sealed thermoplastic tube that softens as temperature rises and bursts at around 70 degrees C, releasing a liquid extinguishant directly into the seat of the fire. It is designed to sit inside consumer units and distribution boards where an overheating cable or loose terminal would otherwise develop into a full fire.
- Activates at 70 degrees C with no power, wiring or maintenance needed
- Six lengths from EBU0 at 150mm up to EBU5 at 1000mm
- Mounted inside the consumer unit lid using the supplied clips, nuts and bolts; also used in mobility scooter battery compartments
